With an engineering degree in computer science from Cornell, I began my career with Accenture (Arthur Andersen at that time) consulting to clients on new technology. And it was Accenture that brought me to France as a young Manager, which has been my home ever since. After leaving consulting in 2003, I joined Saint-Gobain as director of new technologies in the DSI, and the work we did was fascinating (RSE, video platform, enterprise search, …).
In 2011, I was asked to join HR to lead our eLearning initiative at the Group level, as we saw that technology was profoundly changing learning in the enterprise as it was in the public sector. I’ve always been interested in teaching and learning, and perhaps missed my calling as a professor. But with eLearning, I’ve discovered an area that marries my passion for learning with my love for new technology, not to mention the tremendous creativity that this sector demands.
My challenge now is to help us achieve the potential that digital technology enables in enterprise learning.
